We know inherently that education and collaboration is futile without clean water. The need for clean water is something we all share, in fact it is a basic human right, yet tens of millions of people either die or become seriously ill each year from water-borne diseases caused by drinking polluted water.
The Global Impact Foundation stands for clean water . Before we can advance education we must first provide clean water, and infrastructure to support an ongoing supply to economically poor communities.
One of our projects was to build a water tower in the Amazon jungle for the Shipibo People to have access to clean water. Their water supply had become polluted largely due to western mining operations, so these water towers provided a sustainable solution by accessing clean water from deep in the earth and resulted in a healthier community.
